We wholeheartedly recommend the products/companies we list on this page. Many of the products we have purchased ourselves and use on a daily, if not weekly, basis!

It can be tricky to find companies who use eco-friendly fabrics (almost everything is mixed with synthetic fabrics these days) and ethical practices, but thankfully we have been able to find some great options!
- Jeans + Coats – Worn Wear. This is is Patagonia’s official site for their used clothing and gear. Find high quality, organic cotton jeans, shorts, shirts, jackets, vests, and more. You can also access Patagonia’s resources for repairs and replacements through their Worn Wear site.
- General – *thredUp. This is not your average consignment store. We have found SO MANY eco-friendly pieces of clothing this way! Try searching for “100% organic cotton” or specific brand names you like. Use our link for $10 off for new customers.
- General – *Poshmark. Another online consignment store, except this one allows for price negotiating directly with the individual selling the item. Poshmark has categories for men and women’s items, children’s items, and home items. We have purchased clothes, shoes, baby gear, and more through here! Use our code ERICAKBARLOW for $10 off when you sign up.
- Underwear, Socks, Camis, Bras, and Leggings – *Pact and Maggie’s Organics. We really enjoy Pact’s camis, yoga pants, socks, undershirts, and underwear. Our son has some pajamas, onesies, and pants from them, too. We appreciate the affordability and softness of their products. Bonus points for being fair trade certified! (Use our link for 20% off for new customers.) We recently purchased Maggie’s Organics‘ socks. They are so comfortable and seem to be a higher quality than other brands we have tried. We will definitely purchase from Maggie’s Organics again and look forward to trying out some of their other products. Click here to check out this shop.
- Closet Staples – Fair Indigo. Lots of 100% organic, fair trade cotton dresses, shirts, leggings, and more. Their clothing feels like pajamas yet can be dressed up if you like. Mens’ and womens’ high-quality, staple pieces that are size-inclusive. Fair Indigo sets the standard for transparent fair labor policies as well! Click here to check out this shop.
Other brands that are more “hit or miss” include: Aventura, Toad&Co, Gap, Hannah Anderson (adult PJs), and Eileen Fisher.
